SCCM GURU Webcast Series Replay
Episode 10: Nick Moseley
The Power of Task Sequences
SCCM task sequences are most commonly used for operating system deployment. They have tremendous power and usefulness, which are often unknown, overlooked, and underutilized.
In this presentation, we will explore various aspects of task sequences and demonstrate ways that they can be used in your day-to-day administration of SCCM – including uses outside the realm of deploying an OS!
Nick began working with systems management in early 2004 when he was thrown at SMS to “figure it out”. For eight years he's been in the trenches of SMS and ConfigMgr, doing everything from application
packaging and scripting, to OS deployments and migrations, to managing the desktop environment, to reporting development, and fixing the kitchen sink. Recently, he joined the great team at Catapult Systems as senior consultant still doing the
thing that he loves – ConfigMgr and Windows 7.
Additionally, a few years ago he began giving back to the systems management community, by being involved in the MyITforum email distribution
lists, blogging his technical experiences (http://t3chn1ck.wordpress.com), participating in support forums and a local user group in Denver. It is his pleasure to continue
to give back to the systems management community by presenting today and wants to thank BDNA and MyITforum for this opportunity.
